    Washington posted the first 200-yard rushing day in the PFL since 2019, his 234 yards and three touchdowns pacing Valparaiso to a 65-55 victory against Presbyterian, Saturday. In addition to his 26 carries, he added four receptions for 48 yards to finish the day with 282 all-purpose yards. Washington’s touchdown runs went for 61, 2, and 25 yards each, and 13 of the plays he had a hand in resulted in a first down or touchdown. He finished the first quarter with 129 all-purpose yards and a touchdown on six touches. Washington then had eight touches in the second quarter, nine in the third, and seven in the fourth (70 yards). Valparaiso set program records for points (65) and rushing touchdowns (8) with Washington’s assistance.

    Jacobs intercepted a pair of passes in the fourth quarter, helping Davidson secure its 42-15 PFL victory against St. Thomas, Saturday. His first interception came at a key moment early in the fourth, with St. Thomas driving into Davidson territory he picked off a pass at the one-yard line and Davidson converted the turnover into a touchdown to go up 20 points. Jacobs second interception came just as the next St. Thomas drive entered Davidson territory, and his eight-yard return setup a Davidson drive that extended the lead to its final margin.

    Haney intercepted a pass in the end zone with five seconds remaining to secure San Diego’s 10-3 PFL victory against Morehead State, Saturday. With Morehead State on the San Diego 12-yard line, Haney wrestled the ball away from a wide receiver and tapped a foot inbounds to secure the game-saving interception. It was part of a defensive effort that limited the league’s No. 3 scoring offense to three points.

    Bartholomew scored 11 points in Valparaiso’s record-breaking 65-point outing in a 10-point victory against Presbyterian, Saturday. He connected on a 37-yard field goal late in the second quarter and made all eight of his PATs in the game. He also kicked off 11 times, averaging 47.3 yards per kick with three touchbacks and only 18 yards in kickoff returns.
